In case you’re reading my blog and aren’t too sure about the conditions I write about or need some clarification, here’s some basic information for you.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain syndrome that causes widespread pain, fatigue, migraines, sleep disturbances, memory problems (aka “fibro fog”), sensitivity to light/sound, and many other symptoms. The pain radiates in the muscles and joints.
Major Depressive Disorder is a mood disorder in which you experience feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, and/or guilt, change in appetite/sleep, loss of interest in favorite activities, suicidal thoughts, and other symptoms.
Panic Disorder is a type of anxiety disorder in which you have recurrent and unexpected panic attacks. A panic attack is a sudden episode of shortness of breath, sweating, increased heart rate, shaking, and a fear of “impending doom”.
